With seven people racing this weekend, it may be a small group running. I will not be able to join the run, but do not want that to prevent everyone else from running. Below are details for a Saturday run. Some people are also interested in a Sunday run. Specifically Tracy is doing a 22-mile run begining at 5:45 am. She would love some company on her run. You do not need to be there are 5:45. Just post a comment and let us know if you can run Sunday, and she can modify her route to join you.
I hope to start seeing some new folks out on the runs, so I added a 5-mile loop to the routes. It shares the same roads with the 12-mile route, so you will not run alone. It can also be shortened more if needed to take out the back part of Greystone.
Run Details:
- Where: Saturday, 7:00 am @ Harris Teeter
- Supported: TBD
- Weather: Forecast
- Route: 5-mile route. 12-mile route is below.
As always, if you are not familiar with the roads, look over the maps, and print some directions. Details are in the description below the maps on mapmyrun.com. The map shows two water stops, but it will only be at the tracks.
Please RSVP by posting a comment, and let us know your estimated pace. This lets me make the right amount of Gatorade, and helps others know who they can run with. Thanks, and see you all tomorrow!
I'll be there at 7. I plan to do 12 miles at 8 1/2 pace.
ReplyDeleteI plan to be there for 7-9 miles at a 9-1/2 pace.
ReplyDeleteI'm out this week. I plan to run with the group next week.

ReplyDeleteI am ready to run, I will be there at 7am, just getting back from the honeymoon. I have not ran in 2 weeks, so it will be a slow go, do not mind doing 12 miles
ReplyDeleteI will also likely be running 8-8.5 minutes
ReplyDeleteDerek, you have not met John yet, but you two may be a good match in pace tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHave fun guys.
I intend to run the same route I ran for my last one when you joined Tonya and myself. If the Candlewood/Westridge portion is not far enough for you we can do it in reverse and do the trails first--I think that portion came out close to 13. Meet at Harris Teeter 5:45. Call me if you have questions 443-9652.
