It would seem that most of the RMEC is staying closer to home this weekend, so I am really hopeful we can get a big group out for a run. To my knowledge, only Dave Lavely is racing this weekend at the Surf and Turf Sprint Triathlon. Good luck Dave!For those in Rocky Mount, lets get our fall marathon training started! I have picked two routes for this week. One is 14 miles (because I think that is how long my plan calls for), but the other is only eight, and can easily be trimmed down to 5 if needed.

Hey guys, Looks like Saturday a.m. will be a great day to run. Levi Moore, Travis Hartney (my 14 yr old son) and I will be racing saturday morning in Camp Lejuene, NC at the Run for the warriors. Levi will run the 10k and travis and I will run the 5k. Levi and I ran this race last year also. have a great day and hope to get running with the group again soon.

I won't be able to make it saturday but plan to run 21 sunday morning at 6 from Harris Teeter if any one wants to join us for a portion of it. Tonya is running and I think Ryan is joining us for 10. If you plan to meet us let me know and I can do fluids if needed.
