RUN RSVP: 07/21

We continue to add miles this week. The Novice plan is running 8 miles and the intermediate plan is 11 miles. For some of you, this will be a personal record in regards to distance, so take it easy so you can finish strong.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 6:30 a.m.
  • Where: Harris Teeter
  • Novice Distance: 8 miles
  • Intermediate Distance: 11 miles
  • Supported: Yes - Powerade
  • Weather: Forecast

Fluids are placed at the tracks. We will pass the tracks twice. On the second time, you will run to the fluids, and then turn around and continue on Sheffield. Don't get confused. As always, review the maps, and print out directions. Don't count on me to lead the way every week. If I have a bad day and struggle, I can't be the map. Be sure to read the written directions and compare them to the map before the run to check for errors.

If there is anyone reading the blog who would like to join us, but is not ready for an 8 mile run, here is 4 mile route that you can follow. We welcome anyone who would like to join. You can make it closer to 3 miles if you carefully run down Sunset back to the Hariss Teeter.

  2. I'll be there and have hopefully recovered enough to complete the 8 mile run. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
