RUN RSVP: Monday 5k Series #3

Monday night is the final of three 5ks we will run in Rocky Mount. Based on runner feedback, we will run from City Lake again this Monday. The course was quite, shaded, and felt safe. Please make yourself familiar with the course, because it will not be marked. Remember, the course will not be closed to traffic. You must always yield to cars, and be aware of the traffic around you, even if it costs you time off your PR.

Race #3

• Date: July 23rd @ 7:00 p.m.
• Start: City Lake
• Route: Link
• Description: This takes in some on the 10k course from the Chase, but it is not all the same roads. Traffic should be light.

In the first two events, we have totaled 17 runners. Let's try to make this one a record sized group. As I mentioned in a previous post, we are seeing lots of new runners at the Monday races. I would love to get some more of the original RMEC members out too. Park on the Chico's side of the park.
