As a cyclist (and self delusioned newby runner) this is a great product to have if you are on public roads. If you are struck by a car or become incapacitated while exercising - particularly if you are alone, this will give contact and health info you need for aid workers to help you. RoadID is very helpful, the tags are pretty inexpensive insurance and they ship very quickly. I ordered two wrist tags and a dog tag and had them in less then 4 days with standard shipping. They are reflective and they also sell blinkers to clip to them if you wish. Now, I just hope to never need them.
