Repeat after me. . . This is a recovery week. Treat it that way! It is important to let your legs rest this weekend. Next Saturday we all have very long runs and you need to have fresh legs. The route stays close to the Teeter, and should let you see each other a few times during the run.Run Details:
- Day: Saturday @ 6:30 a.m.
- Where: Harris Teeter
- First Carolina State Bank Half: 5 miles
- Novice and Intermediate: 12 miles
- Supported: Yes - Powerade
- Weather: Forecast
Don't be surprised or disappointed if 12 miles is a little tougher than you think. Even through 12 is short compared to last week, it is still a pretty good distance. Relax, forget about your watch, and have a good run.
Tracy will have fluids for everyone and get you started. I will be out of town this weekend. 6:30 am will still be a little dark, so please be careful. The routes start going down Sunset to Candlewood. Be smart, and do not run out in the middle of the road.
I plan to join the team for 12
