Cotton Century Ride

Some of you have gone to Greenville in the last couple of years to participate in the Cotton Country Century ride. The event is coming back again on September 21st. This year they are going to depart from downtown Greenville and use a new route that will go north of town.

As in the past, they are offering metric century and full century routes, along with a shorter 30 mile route for beginners. You can get more information online at their race site. Here you will find maps, registration forms, and more. You can also register on their club web site (www.ecvelo.org).

  1. I did this ride last year along with John, Jim and Grady. It is a great ride and well supported and marshalled. It is relatively flat and not too busy car wise. My guess is that 15 different speed groups formed on the metric century, so if you get in one that is too fast and drop off the back - you won't ride alone for long.
