Happy New Year! Looks like it should be a perfect day to run on Saturday. Hope to see some of your all out for a run in 2007! I can run any distance (within reason) and any pace, so come out an join me. In the details below, I put the Harris Teeter, but would also be interested in running at Fords Colony if anyone is interested. The scenery is great and there is zero traffic (except maybe a dear or two). As always, use the comment section f you are interested.Run Details:
- Day: Saturday
- Time: 8:00 a.m.
- Where: Harris Teeter
- Distance: whatever you prefer
- Route: TBD
I am good for eight or ten and prefer Ford's Colony.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to try to run with a group on Saturday. Im only up to 4-5 at the most. I haven’t gone any farther than that since the marathon because of my knee. It is better but Im trying to take it easy and “ease” back into longer running. Anyplace is fine for me, Im just looking for some company and not the treadmillllllllllllllll Tracy Hicks
ReplyDeleteFord's Colony is good for me. I'll be there at 8 AM, Saturday. I hope to go 5-7 miles.

I would love to run Saturday morning at Ford's Colony...Unfortunately, I can only run in the afternoon. I plan on doing 16 miles starting around 1:00 if anyone is interested. I can run in Nashville or we could meet in RM.

Looks like Ford's Colony is the preferred choice right now. We will make sure that no ladies are left running the cart paths alone. We will meet in the Food Lion parking lot at the old Ford's Colony entrance. There is not any water fountains on the route, so bring fluids if needed. There are also not any bathrooms (excluding trees). I know this is a bit further to drive for some of you, but it is worth it to have such a great place to run. Once the course opens, we will not be able to do this any longer.

I'm ready to run but I fear the flesh is weak after my 6 week break! I hope I'm up for c. 5-6 mi.s, slow. Not considering any issues cropping up at home I will be at Food Lion at 8:00am. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
