Krispy Kreme Challenge: The Krispy Kreme Challenge has become the hit race of the winter! While last year only 150 "runners" participated, they will soon be over the 900 mark, and will cap entries at 1,000. Don't make me run this "race" alone. Who wants to road trip to Raleigh on Saturday with me? I will even make you a deal, I will buy a dozen doughnuts for anyone who comes with me. . . The race will likely sell tomorrow, and is run this weekend in Raleigh.GrandMa's Marathon: If you are interested in a cool summer marathon, GrandaMa's marathon in Duluth, MN is open for registration. This is the 12th largest marathon in the US, and normally fills up in about a week. If you are interested print out and mail your entry form today! The race is in June. At least four of us are making the trip so far.
Goofy's Challenge: I honestly have heard a few people discuss doing the Goofy Challenge in 2008. If you are not familiar with the event, you run the Disney Half Marathon on Saturday, and the full on Sunday. Finishers will receive their Donald, Mickey, and Goofy medal. This race is not until January of 2008, but the Goofy Challenge is limited to 3,000 runners, and is already over half full in just the last two week.
