Eric Seale is trying to encourage the Y to make a change to the Master's Swim Class. He and seven others have expressed interest in getting a mid day class on twice a week (M/W or T/H). If 10+ people are interested the chances are greater that a new class could get started. You need to respond quickly if you are interested so it could get on the August 25th schedule release. If you have any questions, check with Eric.
Swim class would be of interest, except Job gets in the way for a daytime thing.

Clarification : The Y has not promised to start a class if we have 10 or more participants. My mistake - mistyped in my email to Michael. Apologies for any confusion. Eric
ReplyDeleteI am interested.
ReplyDeleteBilly and I would be interested. Kp
ReplyDeleteYvonne called me on Monday to say they are going to run the class. It will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 on Tuesday and Thursday. Sign up information should be available next to the front desk of the Y toward the end of the week or early next week. The first class will be on September 2, 2010 (Thursday). To answer one question I have heard - yes, the coach's do offer tips and advice to improve your stroke, technique and thus efficiency. I know that in the past workouts are sometimes emailed out in advance so you know what to expect.
ReplyDeleteI found this article. Thought it might be useful for anyone like myself that has not actually attended a Master's swim class.
