I am trying to organize a large group ride to see if we could get the group organized and introduce new riders and old. Unfortunately, finding a good weekend is proving difficult.I was thinking about doing it on May 10. Last night I realized that the Nashville Blooming Festival 5K is May 10 at 8AM, which is the time I was expecting to start the ride. Sunday is Mother's day, so that is out. It seems that weekends are extremely busy for everyone.
Maybe we should try to organize a Wednesday night ride around the reservoir. Would a Wednesday night ride (or other night) work for people? We could leave from the Harris Teeter parking lot at 6PM and there could be a 15 mile ride and a 23 mile ride toward the reservoir. People could socialize at West Ridge after the ride if they wanted. Did not say this in the post, but the May 10 morning ride is off for now.
