The Nashville Blooming Festival 5k is about to go from $15 to $25 on their entry fee. This is a small town local race that the RMEC should do our best to help support. The race is on May 10th (one week from Saturday). Next to our Turkey Trot, this is the closest 5k you will find to Rocky Mount, so get out and run!If you print and mail your application by tomorrow, you should okay for the $15 fee. There are not any kid races, but you could walk with them in the 5k if they are willing.

wow another race finally in Nashville !! I ran races here in the late 80s when they were called Nashville fun run used popsicle sticks for finishing order . will be running at Fort Bragg that day but hope u guys have a nice turnout

This race has lots of age group awards, so the chances of leaving with a nice plastic trophy is pretty good. THrow on your RMEC shirt and come run!
Those in the Male 35-39 age group are encouraged to stay at home...

I'm considering running it with Mackenzie and possibly pushing Hunter. I'm not sure about that yet. I also need to look into the race rules to see if a stroller is allowed. Depends if Daniel will be home to keep the children or if I have them
