Eric's plan has him doing a brick on Sunday, so longer ride on Saturday and shorter ride with a run on Sunday. Now is a great time to start improving your bike skills while the weather is nice. Take advantage of any organized rides you can get. Eric is a wealth of knowledge and he can provides lots of tips.Saturday:
- Time: 8 AM
- Distance: 43 miles
- Pace: Moderate
Sunday:
- Time: Currently 8 AM but depending on responses, time could be moved to early afternoon (1:30?) if we can get a bigger group.
- Distance: 26 miles - Out and back course West Mount to Bend of the River
- Pace: Easy/Moderate
If no one plans to join me for a run at Medoc, I might be able to ride Sunday afternoon. If not me, Ursula may join you.

Tim and I will ride at 1:30 on Sunday afternoon from Belton and Schrimper. Michael, Ursula and Larry and any others, please join in. We will ride the 26 mile route at about a 17 mph avg speed. If you want to drop off running stuff at my house, you are welcome to do so as I plan to attempt some brick work after the ride. Of course, the brick might me my heart springing from my throat and hitting the ground in rigor mortis! ;-) If you plan to drop your car/running togs at my house, 903-0269 to let me know.

ReplyDeleteI think Im going to bow out for the ride today, I dont have any warm clothes to ride in and it feels a little cool to me to ride, plus Ive been riding my bike indoors on my trainer and I dont want to carry pollendirty tires and all into the house. I know, its a cheap cop out, but Im whimpy when it comes to cold weather and running in it is different to me than riding in it. I live off Bend of the River road in the neighborhood on the right after the bridge(Lake Haven) if you guys ever need to leave anything or ever need anything (water, bathroom etc) 6457 Waters Edge Drive Tracy Hicks
