RUN RSVP: Saturday 03/29

We had a pretty good crowd last weekend. With some new faces joining it is helping us to get back to some larger group runs. I would love to see us hit double digits in runners this weekend. I decided to do the Half Marathon course, but am open to suggestions. I figured we could use a break from the Harris Teeter routes. I am open to running anywhere, so if you have a better idea, please post a comment.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
  • Where: Sunset Park (Taylor & River)
  • Route: 13.1 miles FCSB Half Course
  • Supported: Yes - 1 stop + fountains
  • Weather: Forecast (52F at 8:00 and 50F at 10:00)
The route above is very easy to adjust, so if you are not up for 13.1 miles, don't let that keep you away. The weather has been fantastic this week for running. No matter what time of day you hit the roads the temperatures have been great. Tomorrow is no exception. There may be a lingering thunderstorm in the morning, but they should be gone early. . . so get out of bed, put on your shoes, and hit the roads!

Also, I am potentially interested in doing some trail running at Medoc on Sunday afternoon if others want to join me.

  2. I'm considering it. I haven't run 13 miles since the actual Half Marathon last December.... so I may not be able to hang. Hahaha.

But I can try... as long as someone is running around my pace so I'm not alone on the trails.
