Myrtle Beach Rate Increase

The rates for the Myrtle Beach Marathon ($70) and Half Marathon ($60) are valid to January 7th, so now is the time to sign up. After that, they make a BIG price jump. The marathon becomes $100 and the half $90. I have not heard bad things about Myrtle, but I don't think it is worth 100 bucks, so be sure to beat the price jump.

It appears a big group is building for this race, which should make it a lot of fun. It is supposed to have lots of fun post race including some golden liquid carbs, plus some fun at the House of Blues as well.

01/14 Update: The Half Marathon and Marathon Relay are now full. Only spots in the Full Marathon, 5k and bike races remain.

    Tracy, I know Gerry booked the Comfort Suites. He said the host hotel was filled. I don't know if anyone else has booked rooms yet.

    I was just curious to see where everyone will be, Sarah's meet is actually in Little River which is closer to the post race party side of town. Im looking to stay between the two areas and just drive myself in on the morning of. You left me off the list too!

    I am entered now too! No turning back now. Ryan and Dave also told me they are signing up.

    Does anyone want to try to get prices on some golf condos? Not to play golf obviously, but to have a nice place with multiple rooms and a kitchen would be very nice.

    yeah, i missed the deadline, so i guess im going to have to fork out the big bucks!! i didnt check any email until recently and michaels email went to my "junk" pile. ill have to fix that for the future, it just cost me 30 dollars!!!
