For those of you running the Rock 'n Roll Half, you may want to try Accelarade. This is the official drink at the race. They will be serving the lemonade flavor. Target has this in stock with a $1.00 off coupon on each bottle. They are $2.00 a bottle, so it is half price with the coupon. It is normally a good idea to at least try the race day fluids prior to the race to make sure it does not have any adverse effects on your stomach. Accelarade has protein which most sports drink do not. It also has more sodium then regular Gatorade and much more than PowerAde.
I have drank this twice now. It is a pretty good drink, but very different from Powerade and Gatorade. Can't really describe it, but the texture of the drink is just different.
