Finally, I know some who will receive this are planning to take part in the Duke Liver Center 1/2 Ironman in September. I am thinking of doing a scout ride the morning of 5/19 or 5/20. I would plan to leave RM early enough to arrive at the Jordan Lake start point at 8 and start riding at 8:30. I can take 3 or 4 besides myself in the vehicle. It is 56 miles, and looks to have a few hills in it. I expect it to be about a 3 to 3.5 hour ride - 17 mph pace. Please let me know if you are interested in any of these rides.

I will go for the ride, How long is anticipated for a weeknight? 25mi?
ReplyDeleteUsually a weeknight ride is 18 to 25. Tonight, Thursday, we are going to ride the 20 mile loop around the resevoir. Meet at Belton and Schrimper Dental office parking lot at 6PM on Winstead. If you are going to run a little later than that, call my cell and we will wait. 903-0269. Eric
ReplyDeleteI would like to go. I'll try hard to keep up with you!
ReplyDeleteI meant to specify tonight I plan to meet you. I'll be there at 6.
ReplyDeleteSee you at 6PM, and I don't doubt you will keep up just fine.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a scout ride. Unfortunately we are out of town the weekend of 5/19. If you plan another let me know. Kinnie
