RUN RSVP: Saturday 09/25 @ 6:30 am

Fall is finally here, but you would never know it based on the mid 90 temps we have been facing.  The mornings have been pretty comfortable if you get an early start.  I don't think anyone is racing this weekend, so hopefully there will be a good crowd running.  According to our long run schedule, we will have route of 4, or 13 miles.  It really is a taper or recovery week for most people.

Run Details:
I went with a different route this time for those doing 13-miles.  This one goes out past the hospital and beyond Davenport Honda.  It does not hit the fluid stop at the tracks until mile 7 and again at mile 10.  If you need fluids earlier, please bring your own.

Miles 3-4 is busy, see please be aware, and stay on the shoulder of the road.  If you want to cut off about a mile, do not turn right at mile 4; instead just turn left and cut out the out-and-back stretch.  You could also cut almost two miles if you head back to the Teeter after the mile 10 fluid stop.  In short, you can make the 13 mile route 10, 11, 12, or 13 miles by making a few adjustments.

When you are running, please know your route. If you do not know the routes, please print them out! As always, it is critical that you arrive hydrated. Please RSVP below with your pace and distance. Remember, we are starting at 6:30 now to allow for some extra sun light.  See you all in the morning.

There is the Anna's Angels 10 mile race on Sun. in RTP. A "nice" "rolling hills" course from start to finish (2nd race in the Grand Prix Series) Michael, will you be running on Sat? I left the Golf Club race before the awards. I'll meet you Sat. AM if you are running.
