Frank and Ron both took on the challenge that is Uwharrie this past weekend. If you are not familiar with this popular trail race, it is a challenging single track race that is largely uphill. There is an 8, 20, and 40 mile option. Ron and Frank both raced the 20-miler. With all of the snow and rain, the trails were flooded. They were so bad in fact, the timing volunteers had to be used on the trails at the stream crossing. So although there are no official results online, I can assure you that both Frank and Ron have logged yet another impressive trail race.
This weekend at least two RMEC members are racing at Myrtle Beach. It will be a cold race morning, but if the wind stays down it could be a nice run. Tracy H. will be racing the Half Marathon, and Dave will be racing the full. Dave will then participate in the bike races the following day. It should be a great weekend. Good luck!

Tracy & Dave--sorry y'all got snowed out in MB. I'm sure the locals there were all pretty amazed with the amount of snow they received at the coast. Y'all will get 'em next time.
