New RMEC Forum!

On our run this past weekend, we discussed having a forum (message board) for our group to discuss any topic that comes to mind. With the blog, you can reply to new blog posts, but not start your own general topic. So we have now created a new Forum for the RMEC!

Running Ahead is a great runner's website, that is free of any advertising, and cost nothing to use. It has many great features that include active forums, training logs, and other tools. To use the forums you need to register, but that only takes a few seconds to do. Once you have registered you have full access to the site. Be sure to use a name that will help us know who you are.

Check out the other forums too. There are thousands of runners who post, so you will likely find something of interest to you.

Step 1: Link to register
Step 2: Link to the RMEC Forum

Another Day. . . Another Marathon

Ellerbe Springs: On Friday, around 10:00 am, Triple-F (aka Frik'in Fast Frank) pokes his head in my office while holding a map. I say hello, and Triple-F says, I think "I am going to run a marathon tomorrow". So he loads up the car, and leaves at lunch time for the Ellerbe Springs Marathon.

This is a small race hosted by the Mangum Track Club. Ironically, it was Franks first marathon in North Carolina, so it counted as one more state in the Triple-F USA Tour. As Frank is known to do, he made friends on the run, and helped to pace two first timers. One had to pull out at mile ten with an injury, but Frank lead the other on to the finish line finishing in 5:30:53. Certainly not Frank's fastest, but a challenging course, plus helping a fellow runner to finish their first was a great reward. Counting Rocky Mount, this is marathon number four for Frank. Great job Triple-F!

2008 Race Results: I finally updated the 2008 race results this weekend. I expect I have missed several races, and may have a mistake or two, so take a look, and let me know if I need to make changes. Look under "Quick Links" to the right. Don't be shy, we want to know how you are doing. It is not bragging. Your times (good or bad) often serve as motivation for others.

Weekend Rides

Eric's plan has him doing a brick on Sunday, so longer ride on Saturday and shorter ride with a run on Sunday. Now is a great time to start improving your bike skills while the weather is nice. Take advantage of any organized rides you can get. Eric is a wealth of knowledge and he can provides lots of tips.

Saturday:

  • Time: 8 AM
  • Distance: 43 miles
  • Pace: Moderate

Sunday:

  • Time: Currently 8 AM but depending on responses, time could be moved to early afternoon (1:30?) if we can get a bigger group.
  • Distance: 26 miles - Out and back course West Mount to Bend of the River
  • Pace: Easy/Moderate
Please comment if you can make it.

New Domain Name

Well, I decided to splurge now that we will actually have a budget and spent a whopping $10 to register us a new domain. Our new site address is:

Yes, I know it is long, but it is easy to give to people, and also easy to remember. All of the old links and pages still work. So update your bookmarks to the new URL, and spread the word. We are going "big time" now baby! Note, we have over 500 pages, so it may be these weekend before all pages have migrated to the new URL. Some of the Quick Links right now are not working.

RUN RSVP: Saturday 03/29

We had a pretty good crowd last weekend. With some new faces joining it is helping us to get back to some larger group runs. I would love to see us hit double digits in runners this weekend. I decided to do the Half Marathon course, but am open to suggestions. I figured we could use a break from the Harris Teeter routes. I am open to running anywhere, so if you have a better idea, please post a comment.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
  • Where: Sunset Park (Taylor & River)
  • Route: 13.1 miles FCSB Half Course
  • Supported: Yes - 1 stop + fountains
  • Weather: Forecast (52F at 8:00 and 50F at 10:00)
The route above is very easy to adjust, so if you are not up for 13.1 miles, don't let that keep you away. The weather has been fantastic this week for running. No matter what time of day you hit the roads the temperatures have been great. Tomorrow is no exception. There may be a lingering thunderstorm in the morning, but they should be gone early. . . so get out of bed, put on your shoes, and hit the roads!

Also, I am potentially interested in doing some trail running at Medoc on Sunday afternoon if others want to join me.

Tar Wheel Century

The Tar Wheel Century is coming up. It will be held on April 26, 2008. This is a great way to get in a long ride at your own pace. It starts at Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City and is fully sagged covering mostly back roads through the town of Hertford and then to Edenton where they have a stop at the waterfront that is approximately the 57 mile mark. Then a ride back to Elizabeth City that covers some of the same roads (but not all) as the SAG Stops are reused. It is very, very, very flat - maybe one 'hill' which is an overpass.

Eric has emailed to see if they still have openings, they do, and to see if I can get the 08 route (here is the one from 06 - it will be the same unless there is road construction) There is also a 1/3 century (33 miles) and a metric century (62 miles/100K) if you are not up for the full 100 miles.

It is $35 and if you sign up by 4/4/08, you get a shirt. The proceeds go to local charities and 2 scholarships for area seniors. I did the ride a number of years ago but did not finish - pushed too hard early and cramped - So here is my proposal for the Rocky Mount crowd. . .

I realize that some of us are doing White Lake the next weekend so these could be more than you wish to ride during your taper time. If we get a group to go, I will be the pace police and I say we stay between 15 and no more than 18 miles per hour with a goal of averaging 17 mph for the full ride. That would mean that from start to finish - including the SAG stops - about 6 hours and 40 minutes (10 minutes per SAG - which should be longer than necessary - too long and you start to tighten up).

I am planning to drive there the morning of the event from Rocky Mount (leave RM at 5AM - preride meeting at 7:30) and I can fit at least 4 others in my truck with bikes. Showers are provided at the end so we won't all be too offensive on the drive back! Please let me know if you are interested in the event so we can organize a group and register before April 4th. -- Eric Seale

Becoming Part of the RRCA

Last Wednesday the Rocky Mount Endurance Club held a meeting to discuss incorporating and becoming part of the Road Runner Club of America (RRCA). Those in attendance were: Derek, Tampa, Amber, Frank, Brent, Arthur, and Michael. Below I have documented what was discussed and voted on by those present at the meeting. This is the longest post ever put on the blog, but probably the most important as well, so take some time and read this through and reply with comments.

I. Why join the RRCA: We began by discussing the background of why we were considering joining the RRCA. As stated in a few previous posts, the main objective is to insure the club, and enable us to be more involved in the community by hosting races, fun runs, and training teams. The simplest and most cost effective way to do these things is by joining the RRCA.

II. Benefits of RRCA: The benefits of the RRCA were next on our agenda. The main points were what I stated above. Other benefits include several club discounts, such as car rentals, gear discounts, etc. For a full background on the RRCA visit this site.

III. What Will Change: Next we discussed what would change to the RMEC. My point all along is that virtually nothing will change. We will remain a pretty basic running club that a) constantly tries to find more area runners, and b) get more people expose to the world of running. What will change is we will be able to do more, and there will be annual dues.

IV. Next Steps: To move forward with joining the RRCA, the following steps need to be taken.

    1. Elect Club Officers
    2. Approve Club Bylaws
    3. Decide on Dues
    4. Submit Tax Forms and RRCA Paper Work

V. Bylaws: Bylaws are the rules and regulations that dictate the club, and are required to obtain the 501(c)(3) tax status, and allow us to be considered a non profit. The most important pieces of information in the two page document in my opinion are:

    1. We will have four officers
    2. With approved bylaws nine people are required to vote on a topic
    3. The club can not financially benefit it's members
    4. If the club dissolves any remaining funds must be transferred to the RRCA or another 501(c)(3)

To view the complete Bylaws of the Rocky Mount Endurance Club follow this link.

VI Dues: This section is long but important to read. The RRCA has dues to be a member. It breaks down as follows assuming we have 35 households:

    • $2.27 - Membership Dues
    • $2.28 - General Liability Insurance Premium
    • $5.00 – Insurance – Directors and Officers Flat Rate for all Clubs
    • $9.55 – TOTAL DUE TO RRCA

When setting the RMEC dues, we obviously need to cover the $9.55 above, it is important however to collect funds for our own use. These funds can be used to support our runs with fluids and gels, and some occasional post run coffee and bagels. They also are important to provide funds that enable us to cover early expenses for any race and fun runs we host.

To clarify, the club dues will not pay for race expenses, however a race may borrow from the club balance to cover some early expenses before race entries begin. For example, Frank and I are working on creating a trail marathon at Medoc State Park. There were some park fees we had up front to reserve facilities. Right now those have been paid by Frank, and will be reimbursed once the race establishes its own cash flow. By carrying a small balance in the club account this enables us cover expense like these.

Another example is RMEC shirts. In our current environment, I take a charge on my credit card while I try to collect from everyone. Carrying a balance in the club account avoids this situation.

The club dues, and any races will be accounted for separately, so at any time we can disclose what has been spent where.

During Wednesday's meeting we discussed $25 annual dues (this includes the amount owed to the RRCA). This means the RMEC will collect an additional $15.45 ($25.00 - $9.55) per payment. If we have 35 members, that gives us $386.25 in our beginning balance. We temporarily approved a $25 annual due, but agreed we would open this up to the blog so everyone could share feedback. At the time we set it at $25, I had assumed our RRCA portion would be closer to $13 per member, which I now know is closer to $9.55. If we fall short of 35 members however, the $9.55 per person could increase slightly.

One thing we did not discuss, was a “member” versus a “household”. The RRCA charges are based on households. This means a second or third member of your household would have dues of $15.00 instead of $25.00 (yes I rounded to make it easier). To keep it in perspective, your RMEC membership is roughly the cost of a bottle of Gatorade a month.

VII Officers: Because the election of officers needed to take place, we did this at Wednesday’s meeting. The following positions were nominated, seconded and approved:

    • President: Michael Forrester
    • Vice President: Frank Lilley
    • Secretary: TBD
    • Treasurer: TBD

Although the Secretary and Treasurer positions were not filled during the meeting, there was discussion. I proposed Scott Wingfield as Treasurer because of his accounting background (he is a CPA, and has the software to track all club and race expenses). I discussed this with Scott, and he said he would gladly take the position if the members approved.

I also discussed the Secretary position with Tracy Proctor. This position is primarily to document meetings (which should be rare) and I would also like to see the position track local race results. Tracy has said on numerous occasions she is willing to do anything to help.

Based on this, I am nominating Scott Wingfield as Treasurer and Tracy Proctor as Secretary. Keep in mind it will still take nine people to vote on anything, so this will be anything but a dictatorship.

I think it is important to have our Officers represent our club members. Having myself, Frank, Scott, and Tracy as officers I feel represents the genders and age variances of our group.

VIII. What Else: Assuming we can really do something with this club going forward, we can create other benefits to our membership. For example, if we begin to host races and fun runs, RMEC members may get a discounted rate helping to give you more value as a member. Our future however depends on the strength of our membership. We will need everyone to take an active role to see this be a success

IX. Now What: Reply with your comments. Consider this a virtual meeting and we are voting.

    • Do you approve a $25 annual fee ($20 for additional household members)?
    • Do you approve the bylaws as written?
    • Do you approve the Club Officers?
    • Do you wish to be a member of the RMEC?

I need your answer to all of the questions, or simply say “yes to all” if you completely agree and have no other feedback.

I would like to submit paperwork to the RRCA on Saturday on April 12th. This is the day of our unoffical Chase of Champions run, so it will be a great time to collect forms and payment. I need to provide the RRCA a list of members so we can be billed properly, so if you want to be a member, I will get some applications pulled together so we can get you on the official roster and collect your dues.

Thanks to all for everything you do.

Shamrock and Oaks 5k Results

I am behind on tracking race performances, so I wanted to do a little catching up. If you are ever racing, let us know so we can keep the rest of the club updated. Here are some of the more recent performances.

Shamrock Half Marathon: Jeff Hartney and Levi Moore have joined us for a few Saturday runs. Both are training for the Charlottesville Marathon, and have been feasting on half marathons for the past several months. Jeff H. ran a very impressive PR of 1:24:09, finishing 8th in his age group and 87th overall. Levi, who has really only been doing half marathon for less than a year set a PR as well running 1:50:39 and finished 1044th. A point of note. . . He did all 13.1 miles wearing a mullet wig. Total finishers was 5,277, so both are to be congratulated on a great performance. Welcome to the RMEC guys!

Other Rocky Mount finishers were:
  • Michael Votava 1:54:22
  • Herb Evans 2:03:01
  • James Tharin 2:30:39

I do not know any of these runners, but if any of you do, let them know about the club, and invite them out for a run.

Run for the Oaks 5k: The local 5ks are starting to get in to gear, and the Run for Oaks in Raleigh helped to kick things off. Jason ran the race as a tune for one of his many upcoming triathlons finishing in 21:45. The rarely seem John T. also ran finishing in 24:24. If you are reading this John. . . Come join us on a Saturday. Tom has been nursing some sore legs, but still manage to pull of a 25:37. A total of 514 runners finished the 5k. Well done everyone.

Other Rocky Mount finishers were:

  • Edward Vick 18:42
  • Adam Cook 32:49

Rocky Mount Marathon: Last but not least is the Rocky Mount Marathon. This inaugural event meanders the streets of Rocky Mount, and even into the bathroom of several homes. It also takes in the scenic Boy Scout camp out in Battle Park before finishing somewhere in the Harris Teeter parking lot, when the Garmin reads 26.2. Frank Lilley, not only ran the race, he design the course (on the fly), won his age group, was the first overall finisher, and set a course PR. The second place finisher was not even in sight when Frank won. In fact I still don't think the 2nd place person has crossed the line! Congrats Frank on raising the bar for all of us.

To all who have raced in 2008. I promise I will updated the 2008 race results page to reflect your performances. Things have been busy lately, and I just need to take the time to key them in. If you have run a race that has not been reported in a blog post, post a comment here so I can make sure to include you.

RUN RSVP: Saturday 03/22

Not sure how many people are in town for a run this weekend, but I I have heard from some of you about a run. Please respond if you are coming. You are always welcome even if you do not comment, but it helps us know who to look for, and how much fluid to put out.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
  • Where: Harris Teeter
  • Route: 13.1 Miles (but easy to shorten)
  • Supported: Yes - 2 stops
  • Weather: Forecast
I am using the same route we did last weekend, because it is easy to adjust, and only six of us ran it. Not to mention, it was nice to have four miles on some new roads. Be sure to bring directions. If you want to adjust the distance, see the previous RSVP post below. The fluids will be at the tracks, which is mile 7 and 9.8.

RMEC and RRCA

Even though it may be a small crowd, we will still have a meeting tomorrow to discuss the RMEC becoming part of the Road Runner Club of America (RRCA). The YMCA has graciously offered a room for us to use to have our meeting. To allow everyone enough time to get from work to the meeting we will start at 5:30.

Where: YMCA
Date: Wednesday 03/19/08
Time: 5:30 pm

This meeting will be very informal, but is necessary if we plan to take any future steps. We will discuss the following:
  • Why we are considering joing the RRCA
  • Benefits of RRCA
  • What would change, What would not change.
  • Next Steps
  • Bylaws
  • Dues
  • Future plans of RMEC

I really want this to be an open and frank discussion, so please don't be afraid to speak up. The most important thing I want people to realize is I don't expect the RMEC as it is today to change. What I do hope is it will allow us to have a bigger impact on the community by hosting races, runs, training teams, and other events.
To learn more about the RRCA, I strongly encourage you to visit

www.rrca.org. See you tomorrow.

Ipod Shuffle Sale

If you have ever considered getting an Ipod to use while running, now is the time. WalMart has marked the 1GB Ipod Shuffle down to $48.72. This is the no frills version of the Ipod, and only holds about 240 songs, but it is the perfect size for running and easily clips on your clothing.

For the next two days, if you buy one in the store, you even get a $15 Itunes gift card, so it really becomes more like a $33.72 value (the card is for music, not to reduce the purchase price).

Friends and Family Sale

Foot Locker, Champs, and Footaction are all having their Friends & Family Sales with an additional 30% off in store starting today, Mar 14 through Mar 16. Click on the store names (above) to open a link the printable coupons. Great time to gets some new shoes, or some summer running gear. There is no online coupon, so just print them out and use them in the stores.

RUN RSVP: Saturday 03/15

After a rain out last weekend, lets try for a big group run tomorrow. I know several of you are riding with Eric, and others are racing, so that will reduce the potential number of runners, but I am hopeful we will have a good turnout.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
  • Where: Harris Teeter
  • Route: 13.1 Miles (but easy to shorten)
  • Supported: Yes - 2 stops
  • Weather: Forecast
I made up a new route, that includes several roads that we normally do not run. Be sure to bring directions, because it will be unfamiliar to everyone. Some of the first four miles are on slightly busier roads, so be careful.

This route is easy to trim off miles, so I only made one route. here are some ways to cut it short:
  • At mile 4 - turn left on Greystone instead of turning right and going to the dead end (cuts a mile)
  • At mile 7 - turn left on Hawthorne and return to HT to make it about 8 miles
  • At mile 7.9 - Continue on Leighton (don't turn on Brassfield) then turn left on Jeremy (cuts a mile)
  • At mile 9.8 - return to HT after 2nd water stop to make it about 10.6 miles
The fluids will be at the tracks, which is mile 7 and 9.8. I know those are pretty close together, but be sure to drink both times to stay well hydrated. If you need more, bring a bottle with you. Looking forward to a great run!

Good luck runners!

Last week several of you ran at the Crystal Coast Half Marathon, and the racing continues this weekend. A healthy Steve will challenge the marathon distance again at the Shamrock, expecting to crush the time he produced on a bum leg in Richmond. Loyal Tampa will be there as well, running the half marathon.

Closer to home, Jason is running in the Run for the Oaks 5k in Raleigh. This race is Saturday at 9:30 a.m. for anyone else who is interested.

Lastly, Frank is running in the inaugural Rocky Mount Marathon tomorrow. That's right, Frank will take his trusty GPS and run in and around Rocky Mount for 26.2 miles. I am hoping we can share some of the roads with him on our Saturday run. I fully expect Frank to not only win his age group, but also to win the enitre race.

Good luck everyone!

Weekend Rides

Eric plans to ride Saturday and Sunday this weekend. For those training for a triathlon, there is no time like the present to get out on the roads. Below is information on the rides:

Saturday: From Belton and Schrimper: 7:15 Start
Will ride 26 mile route out West Mount to Old Bailey Hwy (L) to Bend of the River Rd (L) and then around the reservoir onto 97 and back up Halifax to West Mount. Moderate pace on a relatively flat route. Click here for a map.

Sunday: Long ride 8:00 Start
I am thinking Harris Teeter to Red Oak to Pullen Pasture to Castalia to Spring Hope and back in through Nashville. Should be around 50 miles - 3 or so hours. Click here for a map.

Please RSVP if you can make it.

Best Running Store

Runner’s World is having it's annual voting for the Runner’s Choice Awards (the best running specialty store in each region). The last two years, Raleigh Running Outfitters has won the honor.

Raleigh Running Outfitters has been good to the RMEC giving us discounts, putting on shoe clinics, and providing us with race numbers for our Chase of Champions. If you could take about 25 seconds and complete a ballot It would be a nice way to say thanks.

RMEC Meeting

I was trying to pull off a meeting this week to discuss the future of the RMEC, but Wednesday is the only day I can do it, and I will not be ready in time for tomorrow. Lets plan to have a meeting next Wednesday 03/19 at 5:20ish. I am trying to determine a place to meet. It will somewhat depend on how many people plan to come.

As a reminder, what I want to discuss is making the RMEC part of the Road Runner Club of America (RRCA). This gives us the ability to do more with our club such as:
  • Host local races
  • Create Training Teams
  • Have Liability Insurance
  • etc.
This is not a final decision, which is why I want to have a meeting. To become a member of the RRCA we need to have bylays and officers. It sounds scary, but it is really not. The bottom line, is I don't want to see the RMEC change how we operate today, and joining RRCA should not change things. If we handle it right, it will open up more doors for the RMEC to have a bigger impact on the Rocky Mount community.

If you plan to come to the meeting please post a comment here.

Earn Your Ears!

Several RMEC members have been emailing about getting a group to run the Disney World Marathon in 2009. The Goofy Challenge and the Half Marathon are now filled, but the full marathon is only at 50% capacity.

If you are not familiar with the Disney races, they are truly one of a kind. There is no other marathon in the world, when you can run by a spaceship, through a castle, beside Mount Everest, and down movie set streets all in one day. Not to mention the races starts with a big fireworks display, and has countless characters and other surprises on the course to help move you along.

The race weekend is really a great family event. Not only do the have the two endurance races, but they also have a family 5k through the Animal Kingdom, and lots of kids races at the Wild World of Sports facility. Bring the entire family, and have a blast!

If you don’t believe me, check out the course maps:
If you are still not convinced, here are some other perks to the Disney Marathon Weekend:
Long Sleeve Technical Shirts.

  • Some of the best medals in the business.
  • Enormous top notched expo with great speakers.
  • Amazing flat course.
  • Get motivated by the Green Army Men before your race.
  • Early start in January makes for ideal race temps.
  • Add a vacation to your race and stay longer.
  • Run with friends.

Right now Jeff, Patti, and Ursula are signed up (no surprise there). I will sign up shortly, and Ryan, Tracy H., and Scott are at least considering running as well as a few other names. Come on. . . Don't miss a chance for a great race with lots of friends!

March 8th Race Results

This weekend certainly did not feel like Spring, but that did not stop several RMEC members from kicking of the racing season. We had a group run at the Crystal Coast Half, and another person participate in the first Tri of the season.

In Morehead City, the weather was so bad, there were conversations about canceling the event. The winds in the rains still could not deter 319 runners from finishing the inaugural Crystal Coast Half Marathon. Leading the RMEC pack was Tracy P finishing in 1:43:05. This performance was good enough for a PR and second place in her age group. Next across the line was Jason with a time of 1:46:26, and close behind Jason was Larry with a 1:50:44. Steve set another half marathon PR with a 2:03:42 performance. Eric P. finished his first half marathon with an impressive 2:08:46. Tampa continues to run well finishing in 2:26:51. Great job everyone!

Also in a coastal race, was Eric competing in his first triathlon in several years. Eric competed in the Azalea Triathlon in Wilmington along with 700 other participants. The Azalea starts with a 300 yard pool swim, followed by a 10 mile bike, and then a 5k run. Eric did well in the pool, and then smoked the bike leg with the 55th fastest time, and finished well in the run. All total the clock showed 1:10:29 when he finished. Good enough to be the 200th male and 13th Clydesdale. Excellent performance Eric!

I have been very slow to update the 2008 race results. I will work on that page this week, and should have everyone's results up shortly. As always, let us know when you are racing so we can keep the RMEC team up to date!

All Night Long!

Scott is known to find random running things on the Internet. This blog entry is no exception. How would you like to run 208 miles? Sounds crazy, but what if you did this with 4-12 of your closest friends, and sleep in a van down by the river?
The Blue Ridge Relay is a 208 mile event that begins Grayson County, VA and finishes in Ashville, NC. There are 36 predefined legs ranging from two to 10 miles in length. A full team of 12 runners would average 16.6 miles per person, with each person running three separate times. You can also enter in the Ultra Category with a 4-6 person team.
The entire event takes 24-30 hours depending on speed. When you are not running you will be in the team van, resting, laughing, eating, sleeping, etc. The race has a 100 team limit, but it has not filled up in the past. Is anyone interested in putting together a RMEC team or maybe a few Ultra teams?

RUN RSVP: Saturday 03/08

With a race this weekend and a rainy forecast, I am not sure if many people will be out to run. There is a chance I may not be able to run either with my leg acting up. Regardless, I still wanted to post an RSVP entry in case there are some looking to run.

Run Details:

  • Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
  • Where: Harris Teeter
  • Route: Depends on who shows up
  • Supported: TBD
  • Weather: Forecast
Another option is to run on Sunday afternoon. The weather looks much nicer (no rain and temperatures in the 50s). So post a comment if you are interested in running Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon.

Shirts are getting Printed!

I was just on the phone with Bay Six USA, and they are printing our shirts right now. I need to go to Raleigh today for a meeting, so if everything times out correctly, I could have the shirts this afternoon. If so I will bring them this weekend to our run. That sounds like a great reason to get a big group out. See you then. . .and bring your checkbooks.

UPDATE: I have all of the shirts now, and a $433.50 charge on my credit card. Lets get these out to everyone quickly this time around. Thanks!

March Odds-and-Ends

Sorry for the delay in posts. A group of us is just back from a ski trip, and I was unable to make updates. Here is a post with some odds-and-ends.

Crystal Coast: Several people from the RMEC are racing this coming weekend. Here are the names I have heard so far: Tampa, Steve, Amber, Eric P, Tracy P, Dave, and Larry. Let me know if I missed anyone. Good luck to all runners!

Shirts: I am trying to get the shirt order placed now. We have a total of 30 shirts requested. I should hear something back from Bay Six this week on what they have in stock. If possible I will work with existing inventory to speed up the process. Now is a good time to start paying. You can give me cash, or make checks payable to me. See the post below for the pricing. Thanks!

Road Runner Club of America: We will have a meeting next week to discuss making the RMEC part of the RRCA. For more information, read the post below. I don't know the time, date, or location, but will post something soon. You certainly are not required to come, but I did want to give everyone an opportunity to discuss making this move.
