Xterra Triathlon Results

Jeff and Dave just cannot seem to shake this triathlon bug that has bitten them. Both went to Fort Bragg this weekend to compete in the Xterra Smith Lake Triathlon. This is not your typical tri. It begins with a 1000m lake swim before switching to an 18 mile mountain bike ride that is largely a very technical single track course. After the bike, they are still not "out of the woods", as they finished with a 4.5 mile trail run.

The weather was brutal last weekend, and Fort Bragg was no exception. Both finished the race hot and covered with dirt. Jeff finished 43rd in 3:04:04, and Dave finished 53rd in 3:11:27. Looking at the splits, it would appear Jeff is becoming quite the swimmer.
