If you get Runner's World you may have seen them mention the movie "Saint Ralph" a time or two. It is a movie about a 14 year old Catholic boy whose mother is in a coma. He believes that if he can produce a miracle that it will wake his mother. Ralph is far from being a Saint, but is a charming and a good natured kid. He decides early in the story that winning the Boston Marathon is just the miracle he needs to produce. I know, the plot sounds far fetched, but you will fall in love with the characters, and be standing up to cheer for the underdog. I promise that you will not be disappointed, go rent this movie!
It is on some of the movie channels now (Encore I think), but it can be picked up through Blockbuster or Netflix's too.
