This event has 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run. If you are reading this blog, I know you all can run 13.1 miles by September. This is not about trying to win the race. This is about trying something new.
So, if you know a swimmer and a cyclist, give them a call and make a team. If you don't maybe you should try it, and get one of our runners to join you. Bottom line, if you are interested, act fast. If you need some partners, post a comment, and let them know which leg you are willing to do.
Come on. . . give it a tri!
Mike Schuttinger (Master's swim coach) would like to swim with a relay team. Mary said her husband might be interested in swimming. Both of these men are excellent swimmers. I hear some of you guys (and girls) are buying bikes. John is a biker. Sounds like some potential teams to me. It would be great fun to have a large group participate. What say you Michael and Ursula, our fearsome leaders? Kinnie
ReplyDeleteI am up for the running leg if someone would like a partner. My running skills may not be on par with Mike's swimming skills, but I could get it done.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like three teams are begining to form.
ReplyDeleteTeam 1: Mary, Kinnie, and Patti.
Team 2: Mike, Jeff, and Dave
Team 3: Doug, Eric, and Michael
Teams above are not confirmed, but seem to be well on their way. Don't miss out on the fun!
Tim has done several tris, and would be interested in a relay. He could do the run or bike portion.
ReplyDeleteRyan indicated he would be interested as well.
If we can find another swimmer, that gives us four teams. Any others interested?
