Another recovery weekend for those training for Myrtle, so the run is shorter. I am trying to break the monotony a bit, and will start the run at Sunset Park instead. I figured we could do the half marathon course. It is easy to cut short for anyone who is looking for less miles.Run Details:
- Day: Saturday @ 7:30 am
- Where: Sunset Park (by Tennis Courts)
- Route: 13 miles or 5.6 miles (just the first loop)
- Supported: TBD
- Weather: Forecast 37F at start and finish.
Please use the comments to RSVP. If I do not see anyone else sign up, I will likely run elsewhere or at another time. I am open to suggestions. The afternoon has rain in the forecast still, but not as much. Sunday is not wet, but it is bitter cold (24F) in the morning. Thanks!
With no responses so far I am not expecting anyone right now. I know Gerry and Kevin ran today.
ReplyDeleteScott and I will run rain or shine, but may meeet somewhere else and start a little earlier. So if anyone is planning to run tomorrow, reply ASAP so we can work out the details.
I'll run the 13 mile route from Sunset Park if there are others interested.
ReplyDeleteI should have said I'll run the 13 mile route if there are other 9:30-10:00 pace runners interested.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there for 10-13....might have to run out tonight and buy cheap "stockings".
ReplyDeleteOkay, just heard from Ryan. He is running too. I am still fine doing Sunset Russ. I understand not making the drive if there is noone else at your pace. Lets wait an see who responds.
ReplyDeleteI am still in "relax" mode....hats off to the run/walk program--I felt great the next day....however just can't bring myself back out there....how long can I milk those 42 miles??? :)
ReplyDeleteI'll plan to be at Sunset Park at 7:30 am.
ReplyDeleteI'll plan to be at Sunset Park at 7:30 am.
ReplyDeleteLooks like 7:30 it is! See everyone at Sunset!
ReplyDeleteI'm running....not sure how far. Just depends on conditions.
ReplyDeleteMichael - I assume instead of powerade you are providing a hot chocolate stop?
ReplyDeleteI'll be there. The best time to run is when no one else expects you to, you can feel superior all day....
ReplyDeleteAlso milking the 42.4 miles and plan to do so for awhile. Time to take time off from running and let my legs rest - I need to recover! However, I plan to start swimming soon. And I plan to cheer at Myrtle Beach. Have fun running.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there for 13
ReplyDeleteSitting at home drinking coffee feeling real good Kevin and I got our in yesterday! Hope you all had a good run this morning!
ReplyDeleteGreat run guys (and I stress the word guys). Rain and cold could not keep people away.
ReplyDeleteWe had Russ, Ryan, Scott, Michael, Derek, Tom, Arthur, Cliff, and Larry. Not to shabby to have eight people for a run in the rain!
Ahem, that would be nine...
ReplyDeleteHey now, give a girl some slack--I was out of town or I would have been there!!
ReplyDeletei was at work at 630 am!!!
ReplyDeleteAll in good fun ladies. . . we just miss seeing people of the other gender on Saturday runs. We feel like we are becoming a guys club!
ReplyDeleteHope to see you all back out on the roads soon!
